I read a thread on the rsoc forum about a 90 spec car that had 88 spec recaros in it,there was a lot of comments backing up that the 89-90 cars shared seats,bumpers erg,like 88 spec cars with 90 spec interior and 90 spec with 88 spec bumper/spoiler.
All easily changed and that car on eBay has had the seats changed around also,it's also a bit of a turd and advertised at least 3 times more than what it's worth.
