Im sure its just a rubber gasket. Im sure i used to have one at work in my tool box. I used to fit a few thermostat housings cause of the leak.
Yer its rubber cant seem to find a gasket listed anywhere so might have to be a new housing but 50 quid when its just a failed gasket seems stupid
