Is it possible to clean an O2 sensor (lambda sensor)? The signal on my cosworth from the sensor is very slow. The sensor itself is almost brandnew (bought about 5000 miles ago). I suspect oil has gone into the sensor making it slow which gives an irregular idle speed.

When I disconnect the sensor it runs fine at idle.
