So, I’m pretty close to buying a donor car now - just have to work out whether it’s a fiesta or a puma! I’d prefer a puma as the 1.7 is a far more attractive option but I’m slightly unsure of a few things, so if you can answer any of my questions I’d be very grateful!
1. I know the 1.7 fits in the fiesta engine bay but how well?

2. Can I then use the puma gearbox along with the puma engine in the fiesta engine bay?

3. Are puma driveshafts the same length/spline type as the fiesta ones so I can use them straight from puma gearbox into the fiesta hubs?

4. Because the car is so bare, I want to use and much wiring from a puma as possible. Obviously engine loom would be out of puma but would it work to swap over fuel tanks, complete fuel systems and wiring related to that, instrument cluster should also just swap out, ecu, sensors, that kind of general thing. This is where my knowledge is weakest so I would love any tips/help I can get with this kind of thing!
