Had some ace times at scrappies, became good mates with a guy who worked at a local one that I used to go to, saying that got to know a few of them, when the mrs was learning to drive he let her drive a scrap rover around the yard, one of the other guys who knew us was loading with a digger, he saw her driving around and chased her pushing the back of the car down with the forks and started nudging it along, she came back pissing herself laughing, the same scrappy sold me a genuine lower spoiler for my 3 door rep (the same as rs500 lower but without the cutout) for £5 this is when they were on ebay for £300-£350 he loved his old ford's as well so knew what it was, still go in now and again for a mooch around but the cars are nothing special
