never nicked anything from a scrapyard, i needed an 80 amp fuse for my old corsa diesel and couldn't get one off the shelf anywhere at short notice so went to the scrap yard and pulled one out of an old combo van, when i went to the counter to pay, they said don't worry about it. i think they were a bit surprised i didn't just stick it in my pocket and bugger off lol!
