I remember hearing a story many years ago, that a load of shiny engine bay bits were liberated out of a Saff in a breakers yard, using a few kebabs slung over the fence, to keep the gaurd dog occupied for a while...
Can't say I've ever knicked anything more than some fuses and a relay or two.

As above, I didn't think punters would be allowed to get the parts off themselves these day, for health and safety reasons!?
