If it is the hub/syncro ring, it should be much cheaper (than an unknown box from a breaker) to get them replaced as these gearboxes are quite easy to take apart and rebuild.

What age is the car?
Its a 2001 model but has had a 6 speed box and clutch and flywheel fitted. All other gears are fine so hopefully its only reverse syncro ring gone. Box is coming out so can find out exactly what the problem is.
We have modified it to 362BHP but I cant see how that can affect reverse gear?
