Anyone with a Subaru Impreza WRX STI with the 6 speed gearbox had a problem with reverse gear? My Sons will not go into reverse now, Checked the cable that operates the small lever, nothing wrong with that. Nothing else in the linkages is faulty so its in the gearbox itself. Reverse gear selector fork or synchro ring maybe?
Cheapest gearbox from a breaker is about £1400 so hoping some new parts will be a better bet.
