That depends. Bar one foible (the system needs priming (basically flicking the ignition between position one and two until the system has pressure in it) before I start it if I leave the car for a month which I suspect is either the fuel accumulator or a minor fuel leak somewhere but I cannot see it so maybe it is the former) my MFI system is fine. It is the one thing about the car that has stayed reliable. Like anything, the systems are now old and need the right attention.

It's not stopping me from looking at standalone ECUs however. Maybe some people scare me off but a number of people seem to be having issues with old systems here. From what I can tell, but I am awaiting a price from Karl GEN8 is not that much more expensive either.
