Hello, I'm restoring my 3 door Cosworth and have a couple of questions. Firstly should the engine bay be lacquered after paint or should it be left to leave a duller finish as it seems to be now. How would it have been as it left the factory?
Secondly it had a strut brace fitted which I'm going to remove and weld up the holes left on the strut tops. There is a couple of holes on the strut tops which have captive nuts which look factory fitted. Should these be welded over or left as they are? Thanks for your help.
