Default The effect of LSDs in a Cosworth 4x4

As standard the Cosworth 4x4 has a LSD in the rear diff and in the centre diff, but not in the front. As upgrades you can get various different LSDs, an upgraded viscous, plated and ATB for the rear, upgraded viscous for the centre and as far as I know a plated and ATB for the front.

But how do these different diffs change the behaviour of the car? I found that on track my 4x4 sapph had a bit of understeer coming out of corners, just like the front inner wheel was spinning. So to me it would seem the car would benefit from a front LSD. But perhaps upgrading the centre viscous would also improve this. I can also imagine that a too tight front LSD will cause understeer at corner entry.

So what are the best options?
