You are correct Carlos....thos look cool but not ruined by silly other mods stopping them working...imagine the army truck slammed on low profile tyres, stretched to the point of bursting and sticker bombed....that would win a VW show.
Thankfully now the bead of the tyre has to fit as designed against the rim and no gap or stretch creating an angle on the tyre bead.
People will still get away with it come MOT time though.
