I believe he did yes. But it depends a lot on what engine you are using them in. The CVH regardless of who did the head or how well still has a relatively poor BSFC compared with things like zetecs etc. I have seen 280bhp using VXR injectors on zetecs with higher fuel pressure. I think they are 470cc at 3bar but closer to 550-580cc at 4 bar (there is a graph somewhere). Aim to keep duty below 85%, 90% at a push for a reliable tune.
I just recommend dekas or nice Bosch EV14's for people wanting over 200BHP using a cvh who think they might want more in the future. The Bosch also have a super nice spray pattern.

my light blues maxed out at 330bhp on my 1600
VXR injectors are larger than light blues afaik. So I imagine he was running higher fuel pressure to get those figures. I have done the same but in a zetec with higher fuel pressure when duty cycle was getting a little too close for comfort.
