Avoid the RAC

I called them and advised the failure was catastrophic and it needed recovery not a man with a van. The bloke was snotty but seemed fine when I explained I built it and the failure. 3 hours later a van arrives and the chap quickly establishes that the car was fucked and needed recovery.

3 more hours pass when a miserable git turns up telling me modified cars should be illegal as they make his job hard and he promptly fucked my handbrake by swinging on it until it was pointing at the ceiling (handbrake's never great on these cars).

When I complained to the RAC their investigation seemed to consist of a short phone call;

RAC - Did you behave like a massive cunt and damage the car
Git - Na mate, I was a proper gentleman.
RAC - Thanks for clearing that up.

Not had so much as a sorry for the 6 hour wait or the damage. I would rather shit into my hands and clap than recommend them.
