Whilst trying to start my car after a rebuild I used various metering units 2 I had didn't work so I brought a third , started up but ran like a bag of shite tapped like a mother fucker Reving at 2000rpm , obviously bore wash so I took the sump off and the plugs out , and inspected the bores rings and shells with some wd40 and a torch all seems fine ,
firstly are these symptoms( the high Reving and obv noise )caused by bore wash
Secondly will it happen again with the new recon unit
Thirdly is it just a case of new sump gasket new oil and try again ?
