Tbh most older cars aint going to be to strong nowadays, especially compared to new stuff!

But as long as a car is structurally sound with no dodgy repairs or hidden rust it should be quite safe!

i gave myself a shock once,, had a old stripped S2 rs turbo shell and i had a old stripped Renault clio 1.8 16v shell, i decided id crush them both flat with digger, the escort was pancaked in minutes, with what seemed like no resistance! the clio on other hand took a lot more work and gave up! the escort was far from rotten as well!
