i think your mpg might be a bit hopeful

my 530d will indeed do 44mpg on the motorway, but only manages 27mpg round town

in terms of mileage, my only concern would be buying an auto as they dont tend to wear the miles as well as manuals, my 530d is just about to hit 150k, and im not convinced theres much life left in the box.....

my FRS has done 120k miles and has been 100% reliable in the 8 years ive owned it
