In a ideal world a car bought from a dealer would be as stated, reputation and homework are important factors in this day and age and failure to do this opens yourself up to a shafting, its hardly a newsflash item a alleged car dealer has taken someone for a ride and I would be pretty upset myself in your shoes but I would do as suggested above especially with that sort of distance and costing involved
