A fully race 4 paddle is very juddery yes. My S1 RST with a Helix 4 paddle is just horrible on the road. I have got used to it but I do have to think when changing gear. Changing gear like a normal car will result in the car stalling or a very harsh and unforgiving change, almost as if you will break something. Yes it does judder on the biting point. My friends refuse to drive the car or even move it!

I drove this year an S1 that allegedly was running a 4 paddle clutch with a stock cover. It did have a little judder yes, but it was minimal, certainly far far less than a 4 paddle or even a cheap clutch kit! It's how I plan to go with RST when the gearbox is pulled out.
