Almost correct. You could build one, and you could register it as new or age unknown, but you couldn't register is as "Make: Ford" or "Model: Escort RS Turbo". It's actually a lot more complicated than people claim. As an individual registering a car you have to give it a unique Make and a unique Model without infringing on copyrights. Take a look at the logbook for any car built "new" from a 909 shell...
If it were re-registered (and subsequently given a Q plate) then there may be a loophole for some kind of ringer.
That it is rubbish. It's talking about the SE500 which is not a turbo.
