I don't know how small these standard brakes are but in my opinion you only need to upgrade brakes if you get faiding, have to give lots off pressure before lock up or can't lock up. I have upgraded to cosworth for myself aswell, but nowadays i wouldn't have done it again. Useless upgrade. Its my road car, it didn't faid, was able to luck up and pedal feel was ok. Putting that money in better tyres would have increased brake performance probably more
