It's relevant to what type of car it is. I wouldn't be put off a high mileage petrol focus for example but would I trust a modern French car with high mileage? No.
After the aggro my Mrs low mileage nearly new Peugeot has caused us I just wouldn't touch a French car. Unless the other option was a Vauxhall.
