I do find that surprising about the ZVH. I don't know how a CVH compares (maybe the same or worse due to lack of capacity?) but I know my old 944 has less lag when giving it the beans than my RST (i.e 4.5-5k gearchanges and putting my foot down). OTOH the 944 was mildly modded and running less boost (15PSi vs 20PSi of my RST) but that was still on an 8V head and with the larger turbo of the two fitted (a KKK 26/8).
