as clearly the remap caused the pump to fail..

when on diagnostics.. it came up that after the remap the pump was pushing more fuel through... but the injectors were asking for less fuel...
as a result it fucked the pump up...


but on the plus side if u find someone who can mod the air flow system u wnt need a remap as once u modded the air flow system it will give u an extra 60bhp...

im looking into that next week once sorted some cash out
Hi, what do you mean by modding the air flow system?

I've a 1.8tddi with egr blank, k&n panel filter, decat and remap.
When it was mapped it took 3 maps to get it right.
Apparently the pump can only take a certain amount of voltage. If you go over that the car will hit fuel cut.

Was your map a custom map or just a generic map?

Edit:
Mine made 102hp before the map and about 117 after. Anymore and the pump didn't like it.
