Hi does the ignition module/amp on a XR3i send ignition pulses to the Safety Module (i.e Purple fuel pump relay) ...?

And if it was knackered there would be NO ignition pulses so the safety module would kill power to the pump..?

And also does the ignition module/amp send pulses to the rpm rev counter?

I unplugged and starting was made worst so I assume its working or half working
