I'm sure I used a Transit Connect one on my RS500 with the 2.3 engine, less than a £100 as I recall.
As Martin said use a connect 1.8 td starter motor they are geared the same as the ones your are talking about and a third of the price.
Don't think they fit 4x4 but deff work on a 2wd with T5 box.
