he's said the offsets were different, which would most likely mean that he's been sold a set of xr hubs masquerading as cossie items

if you don't have the eye for the detail, at lets be honest, other than those people who live cosworth, you would be hard pressed as an average punter to know the difference if you didn't have the item you needed in your hand to compare against

i made that mistake a few times and eventually i discovered that there was, from memory, 8mm difference between the 2wd and 4wd version, with the v6 xr hubs coming in at 4mm in the middle and the dohc hubs having a 1.5mm difference compared to the normal 2wd offset

this was 15 years ago so my numbers might be out a bit
