As far as i am aware it is under the front slam panel, under the plastic trim. I have this job to do also on a 2003 mk1.5 focus. Again i haven't got round to it yet. Did you manage to gain any more information?

Hi Paul,
Bit late to answer I think... But Yes, I found the sensor and replaced it. All fine now, no blinking lights.
It's indeed at the underside of the front slam-panel. Only 1 bolt holding it in place and I managed to get it out without removing the
radiator or anything else!
If you still have to do this: good luck, it only a couple of minutes. Oh, I disconnected the battery and waited som 15 minutes before I started.
