Really dodgy for Marc though, having towed around the country the 85% rule is a good rule to work to for safety, most Mondeo come in at about 1100kgs with that rule.
If his car weighs say 1200kgs, a good car trailer is 650kgs unladen total 850kgs, that makes the Mondeo overweight at 100% of capacity.
Just buy a vehicle that is big enough to do the job for safetys sake.
