My car is not a powerhouse by any standard. Years ago it used to make 270BHP from a 1.9 long block using KE-Jetronic and a 5th injector. It is now on a 1.8 ZVH making 225BHP. IMO there is a little more to come from the car (the charge temps have been reduced since the last RR and I am not convince the cam timing is all that on the car) but we shall see. I certainly will not get beyond 240BHP with the above tweeks IMO. It is still on the above injection setup running well for the best part, albeit not perfect (the fuel pump needs 'priming' via the ignition key for it to start first time if left for more than a week, the cold starting (from dead cold) could be better but the cold start injector is not wired up. I want to check the wiring before simply hooking it up to rule out a few things (i.e a bodged loom).
Gus, that looks like a lovely build and it sounds like it has the spec to match. It would be interesting to see the full spec of it. That must really be a flying machine!
