This is not really about a Focus RS but about the breather systems they run as I may adapt some parts to run on my car (an Escort RS Turbo with a ZVH) to cure some breathing issues which have been documented elsewhere on this forum.

My questions are the following:

1) What parts does a stock FRS Breather have? I have an idea of how the stock Zetec breather works but of course this is probably quite different to how an FRS is. A picture of the parts would be great if this is possible.
2) How do you peeps alter or improve the breather system on your cars or are they generally trouble free?
3) Have any of you used the front crankcase breather vents as shown below?

If so, is there any difference between the two or are they both the same? I am hoping the above will work without me taking drastic action (i.e baffling the rear crankcase breather (put on mine to replicate the breather on a CVH with the front breather now being blocked off on the block.
