I did this earlier funny enough, and got the DTC code DTC #01 9601 (no idea what this means) another annoying thing about this is the fact once I've locked the car I have to quickly turn the key in the ignition before the alarm goes off! did you code the key yourself or someone else?
Iirc from what I've heard ford themselves need too clear the ECU of keys
that have previously been coded..(say if lost/stolen).. And then they code it.
My advice is get membership, or get too Ford fella, as for all their faults
they have THE CORRECT TOOLS for the job...
Just outta interest when u do the search I suggested in my first post, scroll
through and find ya voltage reading..should be 12.4 or above!!
Again if battery/alternator faulty its cause hell with the ST.....
