In the limited miles in mine I have not noticed any noise but good to rule that out if I do hear any.

A FEW people broke the std covers hence MK and MT making a new cover which does away with a bit of the fitting kit. My MK cover is lovely,no leaks and looks great...I recommend this part if you bother spending over a grand on your new diff.....that or just break another cossie one.
