I prefer the fun daily driver option, I use my ST for going to work, track days, random drives, going to shows and I am going to have a go at hillclimbs next year.

....Looks good, drives well, reliable, running costs aren't too bad and if I want to tinker I do some maintenance or mods.

Only drawbakck is it's a bit poor on the motorway, but if I wanted a better one I'd probably just upgrade to the mk7 ST and do the same sort of thing.

Works for me, probably wouldn't be possible if you only like classics though.
