I tried to put oil in the gearbox, with no luck.
When is was toped up the oil ran out in the back, by the prop shaft
I looked closer at it, and it turns out that quaife har made my gearbox for reinforced propshaft with 38 mm instead of 35 mm outer dim om the spline

I called gkn and they can rebuild my prop shaft for about 4-500£ + 25% vat

arrrg, buts that is life.
I have also taken away the useless plastic bearing on the steering column and put a metal bearing there instead for less "flexing" in the steering wheel.
I grinded of 150 gram, and made m6 holes instead og the m16 that it came with when the stress here is not that great.
Actually I feel bad when I show this picture because as you can see there is not painted black under the dash (as you may know this car is actually moonstone from factory, and sold new in Norway with there isn`t many left of nowadays). In some way I started the wrong way with this restoration, what was just supossed to be a rebuildt enigine has been a whole lot of more work. If I was to do everything again I would taken it all apart in a cradle and resprayed the whole car under, over and inside. Next time maybe

I dream about making a circut rs 500 for historic racing when this is finsihed.
