We used an electric double, we went for an insulated one to add strength over the big span, it is over 1 inch thick. I wince every time I see a poor driver reverse near it as it was over £3000! I think they can cheaper but our opening is just over 5 meters, I don't remember but there is a critical size where they get flimsy. Ours was made by Horman.
