Hi, I'm new to the forum & I hate making first posts asking for help but i need my car on the road ASAP
Had a new clutch & DMF fitted in my 2002 st170. when i went for the clutch they didnt have a 3 part kit in stock so i just got the 2 part kit.
we fitted the new clutch & flywheel, put the car back together, filled the gearbox with oil, bled the clutch & all seemed good.
Reversed up drive, got about 5 meters (uphill) then gear disengaged & wont go into any gear now. clutch pedal feels fine. there is a whirring noise when a gear is selected but no drive.
any ideas if this is just a faulty slave cylinder or a gearbox problem?
