I've find the auto trader route before, everything was listed as mint yet getting there and looking saw that it was a dog
The cars got better as the prices crept up but they were always 500 miles away

The one car that was local and I wanted the guy never called me back about and when I tried calling the phone was switched off so after a week I gave up

Gumtree was just as bad

I've seen afew on Facebook which were promising but we're sold by the time I enquired

Eventually went to the auction in a "let's see what's out there" gamble and bought a one owner full history car for £3k less than my budget

But will I be so lucky the next time?

As for eBay, they all wanted cash money so like hell was I going to go to some dinghy little estate with £5k my pocket
