I wouldn't use coil overs for road use unless they are custom ones, all the ones I've ever tried in an escort have been fucking awful on anything other than billiard table smooth Tarmac.

If your doing a bit of fast road work then a bit of suspension travel and a bit of roll are not a bad thing! The rs1600i arb/tie rod set up will be a good base but my advise is not to go track spec and have it too hard for the road if you actually want to use it on the roads ����
