Default My New Monster !!! warning big power !!!

So after sort of being off the ford scene since I sold my fiesta rs turbo a year or so back now and having build a clio sport as my latest project and having a baby, I was looking for a cheapish project to keep me sane, so picked this little beauty up a couple of days ago for £800 with a set of lowering springs and NO mot

Ive not really had the chance to look the car over to the standard I want to yet, but for the money I paid im very happy, 99k miles and 5 previous owners and fook loads of history, I got her home and stuck her straight in my garage

The younbg lad who had it before me said he used it as a daily for 2 years with no problems at all ( but he bound to say that )

The car also is non servo assisted, yes I nearly shit my self when slowing down at a busy junction, never had a non assisted car before !

as for getting more power all im looking for is something reliable with the biggest bang for the buck

thinking maybe a high comp CVH on twin 40's or bike carbs, but then I also have a puma that I bought for the engine so maybe the 1.7 out of that could go in ? after I sort the brakes, any idea what I can do there , maybe a mk1 xr set up or mk2 xr2 set up ? or even the puma set up as I will have the whole car at my disposal

I don't want to go turbo this time I defo want NA car

With coming from mk3 fiestas this mk1 is very new and very old to me at the same time , so im still looking into what engine fits and that with minimum effort, also the 1.0 already in the car is a cross flow right ? so maybe a 1600 crossflow would fall straight in or a 2.0 pinto ? let me know

maybe something like this is the end , love the fat arches and wide little wheel, guessing they are just universal arches?

Thanks for the looking and comments and advice would be appreciated
