Also check the rubbers in your strut (suspension) havent dried out. I spent months tracing a similar sound -replaced bearing - stripped down driveshaft and all parts round there - no difference. Took of strut put grease on the rubber bit and it stopped, lol!
the simple things shouldnt be overlooked
