As per title, I am three months away from being 17, but have spent the last year buying and selling some cheap motors, and buying myself a few on the way


Now, this thread will take time. A lot of time. So I just wanted to introduce my 1981 Transit for now. Work will be updated at weekends as I've started as an apprentice mechanic.


So, £850 bought me this black beauty....








Complete with ancient, but very comfy seats and bed out of a Ford E100 if I remember correctly.





So the first job was to rip out the whole camper interior (no pics yet), as me and some mates plan to redo it ourselves, on the very cheap Also those wheel trims that let it down in my opinion. So with a terrible snapchat edit, this is how the van sits now.





Basic plan is do the camper interior, possible lowering, unsure of wheels (looking at getting hubs re drilled), The A team stripe and then engine swaps......


So let me know your opinions, criticisms, whatever
