No, not really, a 10w-60 is probably a bit too thick, so won't flow as well, leading to less protection.

When is it too thick??
At hot temp due to 60 wt ? Under hard track use??
What oil pressure should I be looking for then at revs with:
Std oil pump? 50 psi
or
High pressure oil pump? 70 psi
Dropping to under 30 psi at idle when hot.
