Hello all, thought I would post up a project thread for my ERST I picked up last week. This is my second escort RS so I've got a good idea of what does and doesn't work now and a little bit of experience working on them.

The Car itself is a rosso red series two (88 spec) with a documented 130k from new and all the old MOT's to back it up. The car has had 4 cambelts in its life and remains on the whole pretty standard to this day. It has 4 immaculate standard alloys wearing bridgestone rubber all round including the full size spare in the boot. The car has clearly been resprayed at some point as it is simply too good to be a true original in my opinion!

There are no marks at all to the bodywork, underside or interior. The engine bay needs a little work to make it look better but it all works perfectly.

The car has a few modifications and these are a magnex 2.5 inch exhaust with a 3 inch tail which actually looks small compared to most RS systems and is relatively quiet, a few samco hoses, baileys dump valve and a Collins -31 actuator. This is all complimented by a toad alarm and immobiliser system.

Plans are to lower the ride height slightly, add a few gauges and add a filter to bring it up to a full stage 1 and hopefully see around 180bhp. Also looking at a willwoood BBK for the front and will probably purchase this within the next few weeks.

Anyway a few pics (sorry its only one or two)

The car will be living in a unit with a few other classics so will be kept in immaculate condition (or at least that's the plan!) and will also allow us to keep on top of the jobs and modifications. Thankfully I have a company car so am not reliant on this for work!

I've already received a few bits so will update the thread once I've taken a few snaps
