I have fitted these for 15 years on tiny engines and large engines without any surge issues lol.

on my own xr3 I have a 4x4 hybrid no surge.
my bantam has a t34.48 no surge
my s1 has a 4x4 hybrid no surge
my s2 has a 4x4 hybrid no surge.
saf is 4x4 obviously no surge.
escos has t35.55 no surge.

what engine are you claiming this happens on? Maybe you should try it and go less by what others say and start to gain your own experience.
