Default RS turbo starting issue

Hi all, jumped in my S2 on the weekend and did about 30 miles having not used it yet this year. Battery was flat but started using my jump pack straight away.

Car drove fine with no problems at all but I've gone back to it today at my unit and it wont start again. I've put a new battery in, am getting the engine to turn over, but then it dies after a second or two as if there is no fuel.

Car is a completely standard CVH.

Can a fuel pump die just like that or could it be the pump relay? or could it be linked to my toad alarm/immobiliser now a new battery is in there?

i'm at a bit of a loss so any advice is appreciated
