Hi guys,

I have to travel 70 miles each day for work. I sold my 2003 Focus 1.6 Petrol to buy a 1.8 MK1 Diesel. However, difference in the opinion about TDDI and TDCI totally confused me. I have a budget of £850 and looking for 2003/2004 Focus 1.8 Diesel but have following doubts?

1) Are TDCI engines are really bad?
2) Is it better to buy from private seller or trade seller?
3) Which is a better choice from below if they both have same price tag?
-- FF 1.8 TDCI 2004 3 previous owners, 75,000 miles, FSH or
-- FF 1.8 TDCI 2001 1 previous owner, 125,000 miles, FSH
