If it is of any help, our trucks at work have to abide to the road's weight limit, of it's fully laden weight at all times.


For example if the truck unladen weighs 16 tonne, it can carry a maximum 10 tonne, it can never enter any weight limit of 26 tonne or less, regardless of its load. Our drivers have been caught out by this on more than a couple of occasions and we were threatened with loosing our operators licence.
