Studabear is right in suggesting that, cp2000-8 does require mk5 escort pedal/modified quadrant to work correctly.

had same clutch fitted to mine a few years ago, had exact same problems as you, fitted this set up,,,perfect afterwards.


edit to say,,,when do get parts and come to fitting,, take drivers seat out first! much easier to lay on you're back with feet on rear bench! can be fiddly!
